Stan was my Real Estate agent over the summer (2008) who worked with my family and I to get my house (3288 Respond Rd in Mississauga) sold - now, although my house ended up getting rented instead (by Stan's Team Assistant ", during Stan's time off) during the time that my house was for sale, Stan's work ethic and diligence was unsurpassed. When I first interviewed him, Stan's strategic and well organized sales plan impressed me immediately - after interviewing other potential agents, I knew right away that Stan was the best agent to go with. Stan quickly gained my complete trust (something that doesn't happen all that easily). Some of the little things that matter so much that Stan would without a doubt always do are: personally attend to my calls in a very impressive amount of time - if not immediately (I could only imagine how busy Stan is on a regular basis, so, that in itself is incredible); Stan always catered to us and our benefits and was always considerate to any of our concerns; Stan's down to earth persona always left us feeling like we were working with a trusted close friend and business partner - like he was working FOR us - and to top it all off, he seemed more than happy to be doing this. On numerous occasions, Stan would drive out to Mississauga and Etobicoke to meet with us (rather than have us drive to him) just for our convenience! Stan still calls to follow up to make sure everything is going well with the house and the people who are renting, etc. Stan keeps us informed on any information that he feels may benefit or interest us. In a nutshell, Stan has proven that he is a true leader/agent who consistently goes above and beyond his call of duty. Bravo!!

After 23 years of living in my home, I came to realize that it was time to down size. It had been so many years since I had last moved that I wasn't sure where to begin. When I finally committed to make the change, I contacted Stan Bernardo, a real estate agent who had been recommended to me.

When I met with him at my house, he completed a thorough walk through and made recommendations on how I should de-clutter and stage my house. He advised that if I followed through with his suggestions that the house would present better to potential buyers. Within a month I had the house ready to go on the market. Stan met with me again so we could discuss the listing price. He said that with my house, its location and dynamics, there were two ways that the pricing could be approached. His first, and favourable suggestion, was to price the house low in the hope to generate multiple offers. The second suggestion was to list the house at the fair market value. At first, my gut instinct told me that the higher I list it, the more money I could potentially get. However, after discussing the matter with him and his assistant, Chris Miceli, I was convinced that listing at the lower price would be the better way to go.
 
The house went on the market on a Tuesday, and by Friday there had already been over 50 viewings. I was exhausted, as I was unable to be in my own home, but Stan comforted me by saying that it would soon be over and well worth it. The weekend came, and Stan and Chris hosted an open house on both Saturday and Sunday. Over the weekend and through the open house, I believe there were over 100 people.
Finally Monday came and it was time to look at offers. All day I was anxious to see if Stan's plan of listing low was going to work. In the evening Stan came over and sat down with me and my family. He told me we had 28 registered offers on my house. I was in shock; I didn't expect that many would come in. He then proceeded to tell me what the highest firm offer was and I almost started to cry. I couldn't believe it. It was more then I could have imagined. The night continued as we met each agent which presented an offer. Finally it came down to the top 3, and Stan once again worked his magic and was able to get a little more. The house was finally sold.
My experience with Stan Bernardo and Chris Miceli was beyond my expectations of any real estate agent. They got me what I wanted plus more. I was so pleased with them that I used them to buy my new place. While looking for my new home, I worked closely with Chris. He allowed me to see what I needed to see to figure out what I wanted. Once we were able to narrow down the search it was only a matter of time until I found the place I have now … and I love it!

When my fiancé and I decided we wanted to move north out of the city, we asked our realtor in Alliston if he knew of a realtor in Mississauga that would assist us in the sale of our condo. Without hesitation he recommended Stan Bernardo. It didn’t take us long to find out why.

Stan met with us one night to introduce himself and go over everything we were to expect when dealing with him.
